From Our Partners in OIIT – Changes to Faculty Self-Service, Grading and Student Information

Faculty Self-Service pages for grading, class rosters and student information were upgraded to a new look and feel in 2019. As requested by Faculty  the old versions of these pages have been available since that time. This provided Faculty choice during the transition period to choose either the old or new look.

In the last five years many faculty have adopted the new pages, particularly for grading, with the older familiar page experience still available. The vendor that provides Faculty Self-Service is now ending support of the old technology and NSU is having to fully transition to the new look and feel as of April 24th, 2024. This will mainly impact the following:

• Class Roster
• Grading
• Student Information and Reviewing Student Grades

The Office of Innovation and Information Technology has provided an interactive video with instructions on how to navigate and use the new versions of these pages. The same information is also provided in a Handbook format so that it can be saved and printer as a reference for that prefer.
