Zoom News: Advanced Polling and Quiz options available now

Recent updates to the Zoom Application version 5.8.4 bring one particularly helpful feature for the online classroom, Advanced Polling. Advanced Polling has been automatically enabled for our accounts.  With Advanced Polling there is the introduction of several new question types as well as a Quiz Mode. 

New Question types include: 

Multiple Select Multiple Choice 

Matching 

Rank Order 

Short Answer 

Long Answer 

Fill in the Blank 

Rating Scale 

Along with these new question types comes the ability to make questions required. These options are great to check for student understanding of the topic as it is being taught. Please do keep in mind that for these advanced poll questions to be used and responded to, the students along with the instructor would need to be using Zoom version 5.8.3 or higher. As always you can download a report of the results from your polls if you would like to review the data collected.
