This hands-on workshop will invite faculty to engage with generative AI (genAI) tools to explore examples of how genAI can be used for student assessment. By engaging directly in activities using these tools, instructors will gain direct experience and be able to start imagining ways to invite genAI into their classrooms.
Objectives
Upon completion of this workshop, learners will be able to:
- Outline examples of potential uses for genAI in teaching and learning
- Devise ways to create formative assessments that utilize genAI tools in courses
