Description: This session introduces faculty to the fundamentals of mixed methods research across disciplines, highlighting how combining qualitative and quantitative approaches can offer comprehensive insights into complex health questions. Participants will explore key definitions, study design elements, and real-world examples from health sciences, along with a discussion of strengths and challenges. By the end, faculty will be prepared to thoughtfully consider incorporating mixed methods into their own research projects.
