Description: This panel session highlights why AI literacy is essential for today’s educators. Panelists will discuss AI literacy and fluency, sharing cross-disciplinary examples of responsible AI use and how AI can enhance teaching and learning. Participants will reflect on their readiness to integrate AI into teaching and learning.

By the end of this workshop, participants will:

1. Differentiate between AI literacy and AI fluency

2. Explain why AI literacy and fluency matter for faculty and students, for responsible AI use.

3. Identify personal strengths and areas for growth in AI literacy.

4. Identify examples of how AI can enhance teaching without replacing educators
