Facilitators: John Scigliano, Faculty Trainer & Jose Rivera, Instructional Designer – Learning and Educational Center

Technology has transformed the classroom and it now allows you to engage students even when you are face-to-face. The use of technology provides a more tailored experience that can empower your students. There are several classroom hardware and software tools such as, the classroom cameras, microphones, Poll Everywhere, and the Canvas LMS that provide a way to interact with your students with activities designed for you to interact with your students, ask questions, drive participation in group activities, and encourage students to share thoughts and insights from their phones or computers to stimulate engagement. This workshop aims to enhance your delivery of instruction using classroom technology. We will emphasize the practical pedagogical approaches to effectively teach with technology to meet the needs of our digital learners.
