Diving into Fall: Leveraging Classroom Technology for the Blended Classroom

Digital technology continues to transform today’s classrooms. Blended learning is a popular delivery format because it leverages technology to offer both the benefits of traditional face-to-face instruction and online learning. In this workshop, we will discuss how to design an engaging blended learning experience using various examples. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in group discussions to analyze and evaluate some of the active learning examples.

By the session you will be able to:
- Identify the classroom technology that can be used in a blended environment
- Define blended learning
- Discuss various models of blended learning
- Identify opportunities and benefits to a blended learning approach
- Evaluate feasible pedagogical approaches for blended learning
