Book Club Survey

The Faculty Book Club is a group of faculty and faculty support professionals who gather weekly to discuss a book the group has selected. The first round of meetings occurred in the summer of 2022. The plan is to hold meetings in the fall, winter, and summer semesters. So far the group has met on Fridays from 12:05 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. online via Zoom, but we are open to considering other meeting days depending on your feedback.

Once the results of this survey have been tallied and a book is selected, a Traincaster link to register for the Faculty Book Club will be established. The link to register for upcoming sessions will be published in an LEC newsletter.

The next series will begin the week of October 7th, 2022 at 12:05 p.m. How long it continues will depend on which book is selected. Our aim is to discuss a chapter a week, so books with many chapters take longer than do books with few chapters. Whichever book receives the most votes in this survey will be the next book to be read and discussed.
