This hands-on workshop introduces educators to the latest version of Adobe Express—Adobe’s intuitive, all-in-one platform for creating stunning visual content. Designed for beginners, this session guides participants step-by-step through the essential tools needed to elevate course materials, enhance student engagement, and streamline content creation.

Participants will learn to navigate the Adobe Express interface, work with professionally designed templates, and build high-quality graphics, flyers, social media posts, and multi-page documents. The workshop highlights powerful features such as Quick Actions for one-click edits, brand kits for consistent course branding, and Adobe Firefly’s generative AI for creating custom images, text effects, and design elements.

Through guided practice, attendees will create a polished social media-style graphic while developing practical skills with text editing, image manipulation, layout alignment, design elements, and AI-powered enhancements. Video, animation, and scheduling tools will also be introduced to support dynamic, multimedia-rich teaching.

 

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Navigate the Adobe Express interface to access design tools, templates, quick actions, and project management features.
  2. Apply Adobe Express templates, text tools, media tools, and design elements to construct visually engaging graphics.
  3. Modify colors, fonts, layouts, and design components using the properties panel to improve clarity, balance, and visual hierarchy.
  4. Generate AI-enhanced text effects, images, and design variations using Adobe Firefly to elevate creative output.
  5. Create a multi-element graphic by integrating text, images, icons, and layout adjustments on the Adobe Express canvas.
