Foundations of Teaching Online Course Now Available OnDemand
Welcome To Foundations Of Teaching Online!
The LEC is excited to launch a self-enroll, asynchronous course to introduce the basics of teaching and learning in online and blended learning environments.
Some of the topics explored in this course include:
- what online learning is and how it is different from other learning modalities
- how we can apply learning theories, instructional design theories and models, and other useful frameworks to create optimal learning experiences for our students
- what tools and technologies we can use to facilitate learning
- methods for enhancing learner engagement, accessibility, student success, and more!
Participants can complete all six modules of the course and earn a Certificate of Completion, or they can view single modules of choice without the option for a certificate.
