Autism Awareness Week – Access Plus and Office of Student Disability Services

The Office of Student Disability Services and Access Plus will be hosting an Autism Awareness event the week of March 28th.

We will be having an event on Tuesday, March 29th from 3:30pm-5:30pm specifically for faculty, staff, and graduate assistants in the Flight Deck. This event will include a presentation by Dr. Maribel Del Rio who will be discussing Access Plus, how their program collaborates with the Office of Student Disability Services, and strategies for faculty and staff when working with students on the spectrum. After the presentation, we will have a panel consisting of Access Plus and the Office of Student Disability Services to answer any questions. We will also be providing light refreshments.
